Teaching & Workshops
I work in the community as a freelance tutor and workshop facilitator and have a PGCE. I have a current enhanced certificate of disclosure, public liability insurance and I have experience of working with special needs children. I work with people of all ages and abilities and can tailor my courses / teaching to your specific creative requirements.
My teaching roles include:
- Delivering felt making and plant dyeing workshops and talking to schools, colleges and community groups about my work.
- Working with the education programme at Craft in the Bay, Cardiff delivering workshops to adults and children. I work with visiting schools on funded projects which results in their work being exhibited in the gallery.
- Dynamo Role Model which is a Welsh Assembly Government funded scheme promoting entrepreneurship to young people.
- Activity Specialist of the Eco felt and fashion module at Atlantic College St. Donat's, Llantwit Major.
